Big Ten

After a long day of paper-writing, I tagged along with some classmates and hoofed it over to Lucas Oil Stadium to watch the Big Ten championship between the fightin' Michigan State Mountaineers and the Wisconsin Dirt Weasels.

Having been homeschooled through high school and having attended a small private college in undergrad, I've never had the opportunity to learn much about marching band culture first-hand, but based off of what I saw last night, I've formulated some theories: it's amazing! I absolutely do not understand the stereotype of band members being a bunch of dorks and weenies; both bands were probably much cooler than their corresponding football teams.
