Survival Tips

I learned a few things this past weekend while roughing it in Paynetown.

  • If something tastes good by itself, it'll taste good when baked with several other things that taste good.

  • Drinking water out of a cheese bag is as gross as it is necessary.

  • Shale is never as sturdy as you think it is.

  • Unlike many of my friends, I can only stand classic rock for 23 hours a day.

  • Lighter fluid is a reasonable and practical piece of camping paraphernalia. Provided you're a shameless pansy.

  • Only a big dummy would forget to bring something as essential to the camping experience as a sleeping bag.

  • I'm a big dummy.

Shale? How far did you fall? Tibia, ulna, patella, scapula all OK?
